Victoria Leeds got seven new shops and cafes

Victoria Leeds has announced seven new openings across dining, fashion, eyewear and jewellery.

Ace & Tate and Bird & Blend are now open in the centre, and will be followed by Monica Vinader, Caffe Concerto, Ikaro, Pour Moi and Le Blé throughout autumn.

Ace & Tate is a certified B Corp eyewear specialist which designs all of its frames itself in Amsterdam.

Bird & Blend Tea Co opened its Leeds store this month, offering a range of more than 100 blends.

This will be the first, full price stand-alone store outside of London for jeweller Monica Vinader, which has created a range of everyday, wearable jewellery.

Leeds is the second location to open outside of London for Caffe Concerto, with the store located within Victoria Gate and featuring outdoor seating onto Harewood Street.

The group behind Sakkusamba and Estabulo will bring high-end restaurant and late-night bar Ikaro to Victoria Leeds, offering seafood, grill, and a Champagne bar, taking over what was the former East 59th restaurant’s unit.

Pour Moi is a lingerie, nightwear, and beachwear business offering lingerie and supportive swimwear in a range of sizes. It will be situated in Victoria Gate.

Bakery and patisserie brand Le Blé offers coffee art and Mediterranean-inspired goods, from desserts and sandwiches to cakes and croissants.

Jo Coburn, senior general manager at Victoria Leeds, said:

We want to strengthen our part in the cultural life force of the city, and the way to do that is to attract the new, the exciting, well-known brands and also independent locals.

We value a sense of belonging, within the Victoria Leeds community and with the wider city. That’s why we also work with city partners on immersive events and cultural experiences, to make Victoria Leeds an inspiring destination.

Rivington Hark manages Victoria Leeds alongside Montagu Evans.
